Business Website Development
Most websites are built around pages and design.
Not around how your business turns visitors into enquiries.
Business website development with CLK Marketing gives you a website built to make enquiries easier, tracking clearer, and decisions less reliant on assumptions, trends or guesswork.
A website should not leave you guessing.
The Issue
Most websites look beautiful. But when the right enquiries are not coming through, no one can explain why.
A website should not be judged on how it looks alone. It should also help you understand what happens when people arrive there.
- Traffic without context leaves you guessing. If forms, calls, key actions and traffic sources are not tracked properly, it becomes difficult to know whether your marketing is attracting the right people.
- You need to see where enquiries are being lost. Without clear measurement, it is harder to understand where people are dropping off, what is helping them take action, or what needs to be improved next.
- A tracking-ready website gives you a clearer foundation. Future marketing decisions can be based on evidence rather than assumptions, trends or guesswork.
What we build
Clear websites with tracking built in from the start.
We keep the build practical, measurable and aligned with how the site will be used after launch.
Brochure websites
Clean, professional websites for businesses that need a stronger online presence, clear service information and a simple enquiry route.
Lead generation websites
Websites planned around enquiries, calls and conversion points, so the site has a clear commercial purpose from day one.
Landing pages for Google Ads
Focused pages that match campaign intent, support conversion tracking and give paid traffic a clearer route to enquiry.
Website rebuilds
Practical rebuilds for websites that feel outdated, unclear or difficult to measure, without changing things for the sake of it.
WordPress websites
Flexible WordPress builds that are easy to manage, easy to expand and set up with the core tools needed for measurement.
Tracking setup
GA4, Google Tag Manager, form tracking, call actions and key events configured so the website is ready to report properly.
Our approach
Built around the job the website needs to do.
Before we start designing pages, we look at the purpose of the site, what needs to be measured and how visitors should move from interest to enquiry.
Discovery and goals
We clarify the purpose of the site, the audience, the enquiry types and what success should look like.
Structure and content
We plan pages, navigation, calls to action and content sections around real user behaviour.
Build and tracking
We build the site and configure the core tracking needed to measure forms, calls and key actions.
Launch and support
We test the site, check tracking, connect core tools and help you understand what to review after launch.
Recent work
Paxora Stays
We recently designed and launched the Paxora Stays website, creating a clearer service structure and setting the site up with the tracking foundations needed to review performance after launch.
View projectWhat tracking-ready means
It means the website is not treated as a standalone design project. The site is planned so future activity can be measured properly.
- GA4 and Google Tag are installed, with key conversion pages and enquiry actions set up to be tracked through GA4
- Enquiry actions mapped before launch
- Clear calls to action across key pages
- Ready for future Google Ads or SEO activity

Questions
Website development FAQs
A few useful answers for businesses considering a new website or rebuild.
How much does a business website cost?
As a guide, business website projects usually start from around £1,500. The final cost can be lower or higher depending on the size of the website, the number of pages, the level of content support needed, and how much tracking or landing page work is required.
Do I own my website and will I have admin access?
Yes. Once the project is complete and paid for, the website belongs to you and you will have administrator access. We do not believe in locking clients out of their own website. If we provide hosting, maintenance or plugin licences, those can be managed as part of an ongoing agreement, but you will still have access to your site.
Do you include SEO and AEO?
Yes. We consider SEO and AEO as part of the website structure, so pages are planned around clear services, useful questions, search intent and content that can be understood by both people and search engines. This does not replace ongoing SEO work, but it gives the website a stronger foundation from launch.
Will you write the website content?
Yes. As part of the development process, we can create AI-assisted draft content to speed up the build. The content is based on your business, goals, services, audience and what the website needs to achieve. It is not random placeholder copy. You can review, edit or replace it, but many clients find the drafts are close to what they need and do not require major changes.
Do you build brochure websites?
Yes. We build brochure websites, but we still set them up with clear tracking and a practical structure so they are useful after launch.
Do I need Google Ads to work with you?
No. The site can be built as a standalone project, but we make sure it is ready if you choose to run ads later.
Can you rebuild an existing website?
Yes. We can review the current site, identify what needs to change and rebuild it with a clearer structure and better measurement.
What platforms do you use?
We usually work with WordPress because it gives businesses flexibility, control and room to expand over time.
